Our mission is to develop innovative visible light technologies that naturally fit into everyday life—from healthier-looking skin and nail care to foot wellness, muscle and joint comfort, and future applications that continue to emerge through scientific research.
Who We Are
VioShield™ Care is a technology brand developed by Boulderlamp, Inc., a Colorado-based engineering company specializing in advanced LED lighting technologies since 2009.
For more than 17 years, our engineers have designed high-performance lighting systems for demanding commercial and industrial applications. Today, we are applying that same engineering expertise to develop innovative visible light solutions for everyday personal care.
Rather than creating products for a single purpose, we are building a technology platform that supports multiple wellness applications through carefully engineered visible light.
Meet the Founder
VioShield™ Care was founded by Fazle Quazi, a physicist, electrical engineer, inventor, and entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience in advanced lighting technologies.
His work has resulted in more than 25 U.S. patents spanning LED lighting, horticultural systems, antimicrobial visible-light technologies, and other innovations that form the foundation of the VioShield™ product family.
His engineering philosophy has remained consistent throughout his career: Deliver better products through better engineering—not through greater complexity.

For example, our modular light platform use aluminum-core circuit boards that serve as both the LED mounting surface and the primary heat-spreading structure. This integrated approach reduces the need for bulky heat sinks, cooling fans, and complex mechanical assemblies while maintaining excellent thermal performance.

Not all LEDs and electronic components are created equal.
The long-term performance of a visible light system depends on much more than the number of LEDs it contains. Wavelength stability, optical consistency, thermal performance, and electronic reliability all contribute to the user experience throughout the life of the product.
For this reason, we carefully select components from internationally recognized technology leaders, including OSRAM LED chips, Philips (Signify) LED drivers, and other premium components from trusted suppliers.

Every VioShield™ Care product begins with engineering and product development in Boulder, Colorado. Whenever practical, we manufacture our products in the United States while sourcing premium components from leading suppliers around the world.
